OK, I have been hearing a lot about Kindle lately. As a hardcore patron of tangible and authentic reading paraphernalia (e.g. books, magazines, newspaper) I am not really hooked nor interested as to what really Kindle can offer to a hardcore bookworm like me. And just lately they have released Kindle 2, and many people are really raving about it. So if you really want to think about it, is an Amazon Kindle worth it? I am not really saying its bad altogether. There are many advantages of Amazon Kindle that can really wake your senses up. And below are some of the good sides of this amazing gadget by Amazon.
First, it saves you space. If you are fond of reading books like me, then I assume that you already have like hundreds or even thousands of them piling up somewhere in your house. If you really want to have a house with a bigger space for you to roam around, then you should go and buy yourself a Kindle. An Amazon Kindle can let you store as many as 1500 books at any given time. If you exceed, then you can let some of the Kindle books stored at the Amazon server, free of charge. But as for me, I like the way my books are stacked.
Second, it saves you money. There is a lot of Kindle book titles to choose from and it comes in a really affordable price. As it has been estimated, if you are going to buy 70 Kindle books, the actual money you saved on actual books can already get you another Kindle device! That's how much you can save with it. Plus. there are other titles that are for free to download.
Third, it saves you energy. For example, you are going on a vacation. And in the vacation you want to catch up with some books that you have been trying to finish but you just don't have the time. With Kindle you don't really have to bring all the books with you - that might really be a hassle. You only have to bring one device that actually fits all books!
Fourth, it saves Mother Earth. The last on this list of Advantages of Amazon Kindle makes me feel really guilty of collecting all those books made of paper that are made from wood that has been cut down by people. With Kindle, there is no need for people to cut down on more trees to save our nature and our world.
