Some cool guy probably thought of making a computer that you can take anywhere anytime with you! And that cool guy probably invented the laptop. Laptops are really useful when you are the type of person who, like me , who should always be on the go. But sometimes your battery can't keep up with your everyday tasks and life just because it has been running with so much tasks on hand. Batteries, too, are like people - it can only handle so much and it gets tired when it has done the work for the day. So to make sure you can make the most out of the life of the battery of your beloved laptop, here are some tips on how to keep you laptop's battery life longer.

One way on how to keep you laptop's battery life longer is to remind yourself to defrag regularly. At least once a week will do. There is going to have a less demand in putting on the hard drive and the battery in hardworking mode.

Another way is to dim your screen a little bit. The screen is one of the biggest consumer of battery life so if you can dim the screen a bit it would be better. But not too dim that you cannot actually see what is on the screen. Just enough for you t o see and save energy.

And one more thing to keep you laptop's battery life longer is to cut down external device. Wifi and mouse, although really useful, can drain the battery just like that. So if you have any other unnecessary external devices just lay it off for a bit so that you can prolong your usage of the laptop.
