Which is Better Between LCD and LED?

By now you might have the slightest idea as to what is the latest technology with television. Whether be it for normal television viewing from the cable or just simply having on online streaming television, there are only two options to choose and that is LCD and LED screens. But which is better between LCD and LED? We will never know until we can give it a little comparison.

But first, what is the difference between LED and LCD. To be totally honest, there is not much comparison between these two. LED televisions, in general, are actually LCD televisions that are LED-backlit that are being sold to the market as LED TVs. But regardless, there is still some minor differences between the two types of televisions. And that is the main fact that LCDs use CCFLS for back-lighting, while LEDs use light emitting diodes for the same facilities.

So which is better between LCD and LED? For LED - or light emitting diodes - used in LED TVs there is much more equilibrium to the color saturation, making the image quality better than most CCFL powered LCDs. Bottom line, LED TVs are sure winner when it comes to image quality. It produces sharper images and the color is much more realistic as compared to the LCDs out there.

But on the contrary, when it comes to price, expect that LED TVs are going to be more expensive than LCD TVs. For one, LED technology is very much pricey to make.
